i'll put one foot in front of the other, keep on moving forward, let God do the rest

I think it is amazing to me the effect that good friends, music and a little dancing can have on a person. Last night I went to bed with a smile on my face, feeling content and happy with the world. As a result I woke up this morning at 10:30am (after my perpetual 8:30am wake up calls) my nose that had been stuffy for the weekend is now much clearer than it has been. I enjoyed a luxurious breakfast of fresh bagel and cream cheese, orange juice and yogurt. I am full of nutrients and ready to spend my day working hard, getting homework done and planning out my week to come.

I havent really been writting in my blog becuase I havent felt inspired to do so. I like how it is something simple that inspires me to move forward, not flashy and arrogant, just simple, good people, good music, lots of love. Call me a big hippie if you want but I am okay with it. :)

All my love!

sunshine and gospel music

I am no longer looking inside the cave anymore and have since turned around to see the light shining outside beckoning me to share in its warmth. January was a month full. Its seams have since burst and are flowing over into February. I have come to a realization that it appears many of you have come to long ago, that one person can not do every thing in this world. What is it that I have done that made me come to this realisation? Well I had a wonderful weekend with friends from Seattle, followed by another one helping a friend move. If you have every spent any time with me at all you will immediately understand that means I did not sleep for 2 weeks. I have since recovered and feel great listening to my gospel music, sitting in my blue picnic top, in the sun on my floor.

Many things have occurred to me over this past month, it has been one of huge change and I am embracing ever bit of it. Some times you can not wait for life to change you, you have got to step out there and change for it. Today in my yoga class I was informed by the teacher that it was a full moon and a lunar eclipse tonight. She said to the class that is was a good time for intentions, not just new years resolutions driven by fitness world, but honest intentions for your life. So I was thinking about it, and I have two intentions, both selfish and not helping the world in anyway. However I like to think that my happiness will bring great joy to others in the world.

So here are my two intentions:

1. I would like to fall in love with someone, I want to marry and who wants to marry me (you have to be specific with intentions!).

2. I am going to finish a marketing program and take my degree and talent to work for awesome, sustainable organisations, that help the world.

Some times I think it is okay to be a little selfish. :) We also need to help others, but I am assuming that you all know that. This year is going to be much better than last year.
