I am no longer looking inside the cave anymore and have since turned around to see the light shining outside beckoning me to share in its warmth. January was a month full. Its seams have since burst and are flowing over into February. I have come to a realization that it appears many of you have come to long ago, that one person can not do every thing in this world. What is it that I have done that made me come to this realisation? Well I had a wonderful weekend with friends from Seattle, followed by another one helping a friend move. If you have every spent any time with me at all you will immediately understand that means I did not sleep for 2 weeks. I have since recovered and feel great listening to my gospel music, sitting in my blue picnic top, in the sun on my floor.
Many things have occurred to me over this past month, it has been one of huge change and I am embracing ever bit of it. Some times you can not wait for life to change you, you have got to step out there and change for it. Today in my yoga class I was informed by the teacher that it was a full moon and a lunar eclipse tonight. She said to the class that is was a good time for intentions, not just new years resolutions driven by fitness world, but honest intentions for your life. So I was thinking about it, and I have two intentions, both selfish and not helping the world in anyway. However I like to think that my happiness will bring great joy to others in the world.
So here are my two intentions:
1. I would like to fall in love with someone, I want to marry and who wants to marry me (you have to be specific with intentions!).
2. I am going to finish a marketing program and take my degree and talent to work for awesome, sustainable organisations, that help the world.
Some times I think it is okay to be a little selfish. :) We also need to help others, but I am assuming that you all know that. This year is going to be much better than last year.

You are allowed to be selfish every once in awhile.
